Fiber Optic High Speed Internet For Your Home
Qwest/Comcast Advertising Scams
Qwest 20 Mb Fiber Optic Service Advertised On TV

There is no such thing as Qwest Fiber Optic service in downtown Denver! It is offered only in outlying areas of the city or in the suburbs. Qwest offers downtown residents the old and slow 7 Mb service which actually hits your apartment at speeds between 3 and 5.8 Mb per second. Classic Qwest "bait and switch" scam.

Qwest low priced $14.95 or $24.95 per month Internet

No such thing unless you order Qwest phone service for $30 per month on top of your Internet cost! $14.95 PER MONTH OFFER IS FOR 1.5 MB INTERNET! That is basically an unusable service with today's Internet. No movies, large downloads, videos or social networking with pics. It's SLOOOOOOW. This is another Qwest "bait and switch" offer.

Comcast "Power Boost" speeds to 12 Mb per second

"Power Boost" is a Comcast advertising gimick that allows them to advertise speeds to "12 Mb/sec". Actually that speed is only for a fraction of your file download. The rest of the file, video, movie or song is downloaded at the slow rate of less than 6 Mb per second. CityNet basic speed is faster than Comcast Power Boost 100% of the time!
